MISSION OF ICBS: To improve blood safety in developing countries by achieving affordable and quality assured blood screening, establishing quality systems, providing requisite training and coordinating technology transfer. ICBS' activities complement national and international efforts in the area of blood safety, thus contributing to the elimination of the disparity between the industrialized and the developing world.
